why it was created
When we lost Vanessa, we didn't just lose a person—we lost a heartbeat of our community. She was the one who showed up, who gave, who poured into others without expecting anything in return.
We asked ourselves: how do we keep her spirit alive? How do we continue her work in a way that's tangible, meaningful, and accessible to everyone?
The answer was simple and profound. Tea. An everyday ritual that invites rest—something Vanessa rarely allowed herself in her constant service to others. Each blend is a reminder that restoration is part of the journey, and that giving back can start with one quiet cup.
Proceeds from every sale support Vanessa's Vision—continuing her mission through community care, women's empowerment, and the Athena Award legacy through Empower Her committee with the Henderson County Chamber of Commerce; as well as the Vanessa Y. Mintz Fund held at the Community Foundation of Henderson County.
