Frequently Asked Questions

about the Consultation

Are these sessions in person or online?

All consultations are currently held virtually via a secure video call, so you can connect from the comfort of your home — no matter where you are. If you're local to the Hendersonville, NC area and prefer an in-person option, reach out and we'll see what we can arrange.

Is this covered by insurance?

These sessions are not covered by health insurance, as they are educational and wellness consultations rather than medical visits. All fees are paid directly at the time of booking. Some clients use HSA or FSA funds — check with your provider to confirm eligibility.

Is this a replacement for my doctor or current medical care?

No — and that's said clearly and with care. These consultations are educational in nature and work best alongside your existing medical care, not instead of it. Andrea is a Registered Nurse and herbalist, not a physician, and will never advise you to stop or change any prescribed treatment. Think of this as an additional layer of support — grounded, practical, and always working in partnership with your health team.

How do I know which consultation is right for me?

If this is your first time working with Andrea, start with the Initial Consultation — it's the full-picture session where she gets to know you, your concerns, and your daily life before putting together a personalized plan. The Follow-Up Session is for existing clients who want to check in and adjust. The Caregiver & Elder Support session is for those walking alongside an aging loved one. And the Home Apothecary Session is for anyone ready to bring herbal care into their everyday household.

How should I prepare for my first appointment?

You don't need to prepare anything elaborate. It helps to come with a general sense of what's been on your mind — health concerns, patterns you've noticed, questions you've been carrying. If you take any medications or supplements, having that list available is useful. Most importantly, come as you are. These sessions are conversations, not evaluations.

About the products

Where are the products made?

All remedies are made by hand in small batches in Hendersonville, NC. Small-batch production means every blend is made with attention and intention — not scaled down from a factory floor. Ingredients are sourced with care, and quality is checked at every step.

Are the teas and remedies safe for children?

Some blends are appropriate for children at adjusted amounts, and some are formulated specifically for adults. Each product listing notes intended use. When in doubt — especially for young children, pregnant women, or anyone with a chronic condition — please reach out before ordering, or book a consultation to discuss what's right for your family.

Do you ship? How long does shipping take?

Yes, we ship within the United States. Orders are typically prepared and shipped within 3–5 business days. Because products are made in small batches, some items may require a short wait if they're freshly prepared. You'll receive a tracking number once your order ships.

What is your return policy?

Because our products are handmade consumables, we are unable to accept returns on opened items. If your order arrived damaged or there was an error with your shipment, please contact us within 7 days of receiving it and we will make it right.

I'm not sure where to start. Can I just ask a question first?

Absolutely. Use the contact form or send an email and Andrea will get back to you personally. There's no obligation and no pressure. If you'd like a structured first conversation, the Initial Consultation is always a good place to begin.
